Nikolas Velikopoljski

Nikolas Velikopoljski is a Miami-based entrepreneur and the founder of The Benefitted, a luxury apparel and accessories company. He graduated in 2017 from the University of Miami School of Business with a degree in Human Resource Management and Business Administration and Management.

Nikolas has always been creative, and he started The Benefitted because he wanted to solve a problem. When Hard Rock Stadium in Miami implemented stricter policies regarding the use of bags, Nikolas came up with a solution. He recognized a need for something that was both convenient and stadium-approved. He created vinyl fanny packs that were both comfortable and functional. Seeing how people used his product made him want to create more of these.

His passion for fashion is not surprising, as he has always used clothing to express himself. Nikolas Velikopoljski believes that dressing differently can set one apart from the crowd. He often changes his clothes to fit his lifestyle. For one of his favorite creations, he transformed a pair of bowling shoes into house slippers.

Like many young entrepreneurs, Nikolas enjoys the flexibility of working from home instead of an office. He also wants the non-traditional hours of running a business. He looks up to his father, a successful businessman and community leader in Miami, and he plans to follow in his footsteps. As The Benefitted grows, Nikolas will expand his partnership with various organizations and charitable groups.

Velikopolski was active in various non-profit organizations and charitable groups when he was younger. As a teenager, he regularly volunteered at a homeless shelter and was involved in a community leadership program called Leading Miami. He also worked with a group called Get Smart, which provides school supplies to schools in the Bahamas.

When not working, Nikolas enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family. Every Tuesday evening, he and a group of friends play basketball.
